The 2009 Kelligrews Soiree is set for the 2th, 3th, 4th & 5th of July. This event takes place just up the street from Beach-Side B&B, about a five minute walk. During the four days of this event, some of the attractions and activities are: free swimming at our town pool, adult Newfoundland kitchen party, free pancake breakfast, tennis tournament, and a fun run along the Trans Canada Trail - which passes directly beside Beach-Side B&B. There is also a scavenger hunt, family BBQ, traditional fishermen's brewis dinner, and a folk festival featuring local and top name performers. This festival is a fun time for all who join in. Plan your stay with us at Beach-Side B&B and any questions you have or help you might need is our pleasure to provide. Indeed, one of the best festivals in Newfoundland & Labrador. Made famous through the folk music standard The Kelligrews Soiree by Johnny Burke.
Manuels River Watch Your Bobber Race is a yearly event that draws a huge crowd. It takes place at the Manuels River Bridge and Trail during the Kelligrews Soiree.
